The fitness/weight loss industry, which I am a part of, is failing miserably.
Some statistics to consider:
80% of American adults do not exercise.
71% America are obese or overweight.
“Boston Medical Center indicates that approximately 45 million Americans diet each year and spend $33 billion on weight-loss products in their pursuit of a trimmer, fitter body.”
With all this time, effort and money being dedicated to losing weight and getting healthy, why are we still seeing obesity rates sky rocketing?
The “industry” is failing to deliver.
Cancer, diabetes and heart disease rates are moving in the wrong direction.
Why is this?
We believe the information out there is too complicated.
Should you eat this? Or eat that? How much should one exercise? What type of exercise is effective? How do I exercise with my ________ pain/injury? How do I keep going when I see no results and am super frustrated?
We get it.
We have simplified the process of dropping weight and getting in shape. And staying there!
Here are the 4 pillars we have identified that are necessary for a weight loss or get healthy plan to work.
Exercise. Has to be effective, fun and appropriate.
Food. Has to be simple, sustainable and easy to comply with.
Support. Having others help/guide makes the achievement of said goal so much more achievable.
Mindset. Having a goal and a plan are great, but when we optimize ones mindset, the attainment of said goal is simple and easy,
If you have struggled reaching your ideal weight(or staying there) in the past ask yourself these questions:
Did I have an effective, fun and appropriate exercise plan?
Was my food plan simple, sustainable and easy to comply with?
Did I have a ton of support to help and guide me?
Did I have Mindset training to make it simple and easy to reach my ideal weight?
If you are shaking your head no to the above, you did not have the 4 Pillars needed to reach your ideal weight and stay there forever.
